Management Team

Ronald D. Coleman, Chairman, President and CEO

  • Former co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Private Transatlantic Telecommunications System, Inc. (PTAT Systems), which was acquired by U.S. Sprint in 1989.  The PTAT undersea cable was the first privately owned transatlantic fiber cable
  • Former co-founder of Med-Tel International, a leading global telemedicine firm – served as Director, Chairman and CEO
  • Former founder and CEO of International Televent, Inc., a not-for-profit organization which hosted the premier annual conference on telecommunications policy for senior level government and industry leaders
  • In 1996, Federal Communications Commission Chairman Reed Hundt appointed Mr. Coleman as Chairman of the Commission’s International Advisory Committee on Telemedicine. Mr. Coleman also served as representative of the Honorable James Gilmore, then Governor of Virginia, to the Southern Governors’ Conference. He also served on the transition teams of both President Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush
  • Previously, Mr. Coleman served as Republican Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Commerce Committee, practiced telecommunications law in Washington, D.C. and co-founded the Direct Broadcast Satellite Corporation (now EchoStar)
  • Serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of the University of Montana Foundation

Dain Bolling, Director and CTO

  • Has over 20 years of extensive marketing and product development experience as a former executive for ECI Telecom, Telco Systems, and L.M. Ericsson
  • Dain has successfully negotiated Strategic Alliances and Distribution Agreements with key vendors, defined and managed the certification process requirements of the ILEC market from initial lab trials through the Telcordia process, methods and procedures process, OSS integration, first office application, and equipment order forecast processes

Robert Klein, General Counsel

  • Prior to joining Telepath, Bob practiced law for forty years in the U.S. at national-practice law firms. His areas of specialty are general corporate and transaction law, with emphasis on offerings of debt and equity securities and real estate transactions
  • Bob also handles all insurance placements for Telepath and is serving as temporary Human Resource Administrator

Michael Reed, CFO

  • Over 20 years of experience in a variety of financial roles
  • Previously, he served as the CFO of Med-Tel International, a rapidly growing outpatient tele-radiology services provider with international operations
  • Prior to Med-Tel, Michael worked for Nortel Networks in a variety of financial management roles including manufacturing operations and logistics support

Marcia Bexley, Corporate Communications Director

  • Over 25 years of experience in public & investor relations, sales & marketing, government relations and organizational management
  • As president of BEXCOM, works in various industries from healthcare to high-tech, developing public relations and marketing plans as well as special events
  • Previously Vice President of Group Sales nationwide at Z-Tel Communications
  • Prior to Z-Tel Communications, Director of Corporate and Government Relations for InterDigital Communications Corporation

Tom Tauke

  • Retired as EVP of Verizon in July 2013. As the company’s senior policy executive, was responsible for the development of Verizon’s public policy positions and advocacy
  • Prior to Verizon, was a member of the House of Representatives for over ten years
  • Past chair of the United States Telecom Association
  • Senior fellow at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he served on the Board and Executive Committee and chaired its Telecommunications and e-Commerce Committee
  • Chair of the Board of Home Technology Systems, director and immediate past chair of the Board of the Business Industry Political Action Committee, and chair of the Executive Committee of the Board of Jobs for America’s Graduates
  • Director on the boards of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, Fix the Debt campaign and the Bipartisan Policy Center Advocacy Network
  • Member and past chair of the Board of Regents of Loras College and co-chair of the Catholic Diocese of Arlington capital campaign

Casimir Skrzypczak

  • Expert on telecommunications network planning and evolution
  • Past chairman of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions
  • Former Corporate Vice President and Group President of Professional Services at Telcordia Technologies. His responsibilities included the development and management of Telcordia’s worldwide professional services and industry standards setting activities
  • Former President of NYNEX (now Verizon) Science & Technology and Vice President – Network & Technology Planning
  • Former SVP of Customer Advocacy at Cisco Systems for the service provider line of business
  • Serves on the boards of JDS Uniphase, RF Microdevices and the International Engineering Consortium
  • Former lead director at WebEx prior to its sale to Cisco and director at ECI Telecom and Sirenza Microdevices prior to their sale

Robert L. Livingston

  • Former Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee and founder of The Livingston Group, LLC, one of the leading U.S. government relations firms
  • Prior to his 20+ years in Congress, practiced law in both public and private fields for nine years. Former positions include Assistant U.S. Attorney, Chief Special Prosecutor and Chief of the Armed Robbery Division of the New Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, and Chief Prosecutor for the Organized Crime Unit of the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office
  • Serves on the Board of the International Foundation for Election Systems, and is a Member of The Sovereign Military Order of Malta
